The Restyling of Puccia's Brothers: Between Steel and Wood, Industrial Elegance Frames the Flavors of Puglia
Puccia’s Brothers, a renowned Milanese establishment specializing in traditional puccia from Puglia, has recently undergone a restyling that blends tradition with industrial design. This project, expertly curated by Ad_archdesign (https://www.ad-archdesign.it/), highlights the ability of contemporary design to enhance cultural roots, creating an inviting and refined environment
Style and Functionality
The stars of this restyling are unique custom-made furnishings designed specifically for the venue. Among them, steel tube and wood display stands stand out, combining sturdiness with a warm visual appeal. The black-painted steel surfaces harmoniously interact with natural wood, creating a balanced and functional aesthetic.
Another distinctive element is the custom lettering panels, designed to tell the story of the venue and celebrate Puglian culture. These graphic details give personality to the space, transforming it into a place that is not only a restaurant but also a visual and sensory experience.
Finally, the strategically placed steel fruit racks combine practicality with design, showing that even functional details can become impactful decorative elements.
The Return of Steel in Commercial Spaces
Thanks to this design intervention, Puccia’s Brothers (https://www.instagram.com/pucciasbrothers/) has become not only a landmark for lovers of Puglian cuisine but also an example of how industrial steel design can elevate any commercial space. The harmony between materials such as wood and steel not only enhances the aesthetic of the venue but also makes it versatile and welcoming for every customer.
