Steel sheet cladding, custom-made cabinetry, and decorative elements with the exclusive Siderio Lab finish: a bespoke project for a private home with a unique personality.
Steel and sheet metal furniture have now entered domestic spaces, transforming interiors with solutions that combine strength, elegance, and refinement. In this private residence, designer Alessandro Tonini crafted a project that seamlessly blends functionality, aesthetics, and craftsmanship using steel sheet with the exclusive Siderio Lab finish.
Steel Becomes Art
The centerpiece of this project is the fireplace cladding, a key design feature that symbolizes modern elegance. The steel sheet, with its textured finish and bespoke details, adds depth and character to the space. It transforms the fireplace into a striking focal point, perfect for interiors with an industrial chic style.
Next to the fireplace stands the steel sheet sideboard, designed with clean, minimalist lines. This furnishing balances strength and visual lightness, offering an ideal mix of functionality and modern design. The exclusive finish enhances every detail, making the sideboard an iconic piece that enriches any living space.
To complete the project, a unique decorative element was introduced: a curved steel circle. This artistic feature brings a refined and distinctive touch to the room. The simplicity of its shape and the use of steel sheet highlight the designer’s attention to detail and the ability to transform industrial material into exclusive design.
This project demonstrates how steel and sheet metal can become protagonists even in private homes, delivering personality, elegance, and timeless aesthetics. Thanks to the Siderio Lab finish, every element tells a story of artisan expertise and a passion for design.
