Susanna Mandelli presents 7X, a collection of tables that reveals the most emotional and versatile side of metal furniture.
The collection includes a series of tables with variable dimensions, all characterized by an essential structure: a slim tabletop suspended on cylindrical supports of different proportions. Each piece is enhanced with a selection of exclusive material finishes, offering infinite customization possibilities.

Inspiration
The number seven is the invisible thread that runs through the entire project. A hidden detail in the design – each dimension is a multiple of seven – but deeply rooted in its meaning.
Seven, like the members of the designer’s family, who, during the design process, experienced the departure of a child leaving to study abroad. From this experience came the idea of a table: a symbol of family, a place of meetings and separations, a space that welcomes and waits, a witness to absences and returns.
A perfect expression of the Soft Perspective theme, 7X combines geometric rigor and formal harmony. The structural simplicity is softened by the roundness of the lines and a delicate balance between solid and voids. The contrast between the various material finishes emphasizes the visual break between the thin and ethereal tabletop and the solid cylindrical legs, creating a refined geometric, chromatic, and tactile play. The table thus becomes a dynamic and harmonious whole, inspired by the perfect harmony of an ensemble in ballet.

The Designer
Susanna Mandelli, industrial and interior designer, lives and works in Bologna. After graduating from the International School of Design, she collaborated with showrooms and architecture studios in Italy, then started her own business in 2010. Over the years, she has worked with leading companies in the lighting sector and is currently the artistic director of Insidesign Studio.
Her past as a classical dancer permeates every project: the repetition of gestures until perfection, the search for dynamic balance between the elements and space. In an almost choreographic vision, space is not just a container but a fluid entity, capable of adapting and transforming with those who inhabit it.
